Jesus makes an unusual statement, " but you who are willing to listen", wow if I am going to follow Jesus I must have a willingness to listen...to hear that leads to doing. He has a lot to say. In this case he is addressing a cultural drift of the day. This drift was away from the intent of God to display his love to people through his people.
